The monograph is devoted to the problem of the pain and its possible solutions.

The problem of the chronic pain is multidisciplinary in nature, it has a high relevance and social and economic significance.

Structural and informational approach enables to demonstrate new aspects and to establish new consistent patterns of the pain syndromes chronization, the phenomenon of migration of the nociogenic zones, transformation of the pain syndrome with the formation of an independent nosological form — algetic disease.

The authors present the clinical and pathogenetic substantiation of the main directions of the therapy of the pain, conceptual basis of the non-invasive neuromodulation (nonthermal therapeutic effects of electromagnetic physical factors on the various parts of the somatic and autonomic nervous system) in the treatment of the chronic pain.
