I’m so sorry…

Outstanding, deep true story

Isn’t normal, but divine.

Candles burning, shining sun,

Stars and streets and autumn trees —

All are known for us through eyes and ears.

You like talking, having fun,

Being far from me, just farther run.

Like an old and wise

I’ve been solving exercise.

I’ve been near as wife of swan.

Catching pain

My soul was dedicated summer rain.

But more I gave, so more I won.

To be out and to be lost —

Who those words for? Me or you?

One way bridge of conversation

Has become an innovation.

But you know… Web is covered with the frost.

I’m not warrior, just kind of gnome.

And the fortress you’d constructed,

Just became my native home.

Breathe the skin,

Look eyes to eyes…

And the hand upon the shoulder lies.

No. We’re talking through the screen.
