Denial is a cruel thing

It can’t be fixed within a minute

You’re like a bird with broken wing

Which cannot fly and lost its meaning

You fall through darkness and despair

There is no end, there is no future

And coldest wind plays with your hair

Your only friend. A silent butcher

Who chops and rips your soul apart

Without any words and sound

You wish you could begin from start

Again. But no one is around

Who cares or trying to pretend

To care. You know now real meaning

Of being human, being friend —

The force that keeps our planet spinning

You’re all alone. No purpose left

To be alive but you keep breathing

You’ve realised that you were dead

A whole life. It wasn’t easy

But no more time for you remains
